My parents were the same when I moved out. They did their best to entice me with jobs and careers near to where they live. It didn't work and the more I told them that it's not what I want the more they backed off. You need to stay firm about what you want. If you don't want to work in HK then don't apply for jobs there. Tell your parents that you're not going to work there. Eventually they'll back off. It'll take time and effort but it will work xx I know exactly what you mean.
